Concept

Strooop is a puzzle-action game based on the Stroop effect, a psychological phenomenon where our brain conflicts when visual information contradicts the text being read. The game transforms this cognitive concept into gameplay mechanics.

Gameplay

The player must pass through a series of doors by choosing the right color, the right size, and the right position to proceed. The catch? The doors are labeled with color words (RED, BLUE, GREEN, etc.), but the text is displayed in a color different from what it indicates.

Example:

• The door displays the word "RED" written in BLUE → the correct answer is BLUE (the actual visual color), not red
• The word "YELLOW" written in GREEN → you must recognize that the visible color is green

The game tests your ability to ignore conflicting information and react quickly to what you actually see, not what you read.
